If you grow up at the beach, you either fish or you surf, or both! Although the waves may not be so large in Garden City, the surf culture is huge here. Surf shops, like Village Surf Shoppe, are local institutions that attract the groms year-round. You can never be too young or too old to hang ten, so next time you head to the beach, stop by the local surf shop to grab a board and some lessons!
